- 125 g Sugar
- 150 g Plain Flour
- 1 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 1½ tsp Baking Powder
- ¼ tsp Salt
- 50 g Dark Chocolate (at least 55% melted plus extra for topping)
- 100 g Butter (melted)

How to Make Chocolate Waffles For the Waffle Maker
Melt the butter and chocolate together, either in the microwave at 30 second intervals or on the hob. Leave to cool slightly.
Whisk the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy in a electric mixer.
Mix the cocoa powder, baking powder, flour, and salt. Add to the egg batter along with melt chocolate and butter. Stir thoroughly.
Pre-heat the waffle iron, then add ¼ of the mixture to each square or round depending on the type of waffle iron. Bake for about 3-4. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
